We provided a series of activities that brought people in the community together, creating a safe space where they were able meet new people from the community, and create a diologue with others in order to reduce isolation and increase community cohesion through restorative practices and activities.
There were a number of sports activities available throughout the week, from Sailing, kayaking and paddle-boarding on the water to art workshops and more. There was an ample opportunity for young people across Southwark to discover and develop new skills whilst giving youngsters a chance to integrate with others outside of school.
On Friday the 21st we celebrated our participants efforts during an afternoon of prize giving. This event gave everyone a chance to push the boat out for the achievements of all of those involved.
