The Restorative Justice for All (RJ4All) Institute is celebrating the RJ Week 2016 with a special Call for papers for its peer review Internet Journal of Restorative Justice (IJRJ)! The special edition of the IJRJ under the theme “Empowering Restorative Justice Internationally: New opportunities and pitfalls” aims to increase awareness of the restorative justice concept and implementation, and to help address misconceptions about its potential and limitations, while pushing the barriers of restorative justice and challenge conventional approaches internationally.
Young and senior researchers, academics, practitioners, and those who are at the early stages of their career, are invited to contribute by sending papers of theoretical and empirical nature as well as book reviews, article reviews and commentaries. The main issues to be addressed within this IJRJ special edition include, but not limited to:
Papers submitted under this call will be published in the first IJRJ special issue under the title “Empowering Restorative Justice Internationally: New opportunities and pitfalls”!
Submissions to the IJRJ should be made to IJRJ@rj4all.info
All submissions should follow the IJRJ Submission Guidelines.
*Submissions will be subject to the normal process of peer review. The review process will aim to reach a decision within 3-6 weeks of receipt. Following the review process, the authors will be requested to send their revised papers within a period of 4-6 weeks.

The IJRJ is a free, international, peer-reviewed e-journal in the field of restorative justice. Its primary aim is to publish scholarly, peer-reviewed articles of the highest standard from many areas of expertise including restorative practices in schools, neighbourhoods, organizations and businesses, family matters and (youth) care, restorative justice in the criminal and juvenile justice system, restorative justice in prison settings and restorative aftercare.
