Here at RJ4All, we are using LCPW to expose and challenge poverty, while creating a positive narrative that demonstrates an insight into our community-based approach to tackling the exclusion experienced by some members of the community.
In particular, "Disadvantaged Learners" include migrants, refugees and minorities who lack inclusion into UK social benefits. Reducing their exclusion is not only a basic human right to dignity and respect, but will also allow for a more representative, diverse and stronger workforce.
If you believe you can make a change for London's poverty, then join us on the
19th October 2022 for our event:
Teaching Green, where
will visit the themes of the human challenge of poverty, alongside the environmental challenges that society must also confront.
With great thanks to a partnership with Hubbub, we are delighted to announce the parallel workshop "Eat Your Pumpkin", centred on the worrying fact that " 14.5 million pumpkins are expected to be left uneaten this Halloween, in the UK alone!".
Expect a pumpkin and food-related workshop on the Slow Food Movement, featuring creative recipes for salvaging your pumpkins’ insides throughout day.
Additionally,
please join us - kids included - from 3pm onwards for a fun afternoon filled with activities including pumpkin carving and a pumpkin treasure hunt for anyone who wants to take part!
CPD Certification & Freebies!
Those who attend the event will receive a link to take the RADIAL e-course, through which they will gain for free a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) certificate.
RJ4All is proud to offer this event for free. Lunch and refreshments will be provided for free. During the event we will also be donating clothing, shoes and much much more!
Donations are encouraged to allow us to continue delivering our charitable mission!
