RJ4All Youth Club Easter
11-14 April 2022
Prior to the Easter weekend, RJ4All Centre welcomed children and young people in our
community to take part in a week full of exciting activities. This included: arts and crafts,
boxing, a walk to the woodlands and a movie.
Partners and Goal
In our attempt to address the consequences of inequality and power imbalances, free spaces were offered to local families. This was conducted as part of the first of many youth clubs, supported by Southwark Council, Art-Invest UK and Decathlon’s joint Health and Well-being fund. Ensuring children and young people have access to sports and creative outlets is essential for their healthy development.
The Experience
Holding an event around Easter was a great way to celebrate the holiday and find alternative activities to engage children. As our Fitness and Centre Manager Hatice Yesilbulut said “it was a pleasure having the kids, they were brilliant and each brought their own colour to the week. I am
looking forward to hosting more youth clubs and taking in feedback from the children.”
