The Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership comprising of the coordinator, the Restorative Justice for All International Institute (UK), and partners: Tuzla Halk Eğitimi Merkezi (TR), Sinergia Go2Europe (IT), Casa Eslava Asociación (ES), BOSEV Büyük Ortadoğu Sağlık ve Eğitim Vakfı (TR), Centrul Pentru Promovarea Invatarii Permanente (RO), Instruction and Formation (IR) have developed a unique and highly interactive free e-course!
Who is this e-course for?
This e-course aims to train professionals working in formal (e.g. prisons, probation, police) and informal (e.g. in the community) criminal justice settings on how to prevent violent radicalisation. The e-course has six modules leading to its learning outcomes. • Module 1 - Introduction to Violent Radicalization and Violent Extremism in Europe • Module 2 - Restorative Justice Theory and the Good Lives Model • Module 3 - Restorative Justice Practice
Successful completion will lead to CPD (Continuous Professional Development) Certification!
Moreover, the e-course can be paused as many times as needed and it takes approximately 12 non-stop hours to fully complete all modules and take the CPD test. The e-course includes software that make it accessible in various languages as well as for those with visual and hearing impairments.
What have we developed in terms of the final intellectual output?
The biggest legacy of the project is defined by the RDaVR ebook which brings together all the research, pilots, learning and findings throughout the project implementation process. The e-book feature chapters in each national language of the project partners as well as a comparative chapter in English, making it the first e-book in this field, paving the way for Europe! The handbook is divided into six modules, each of which concludes with a brief quiz, containing information about violent radicalisation and prevention strategies. It is dedicated to professionals who work with persons who are at danger of becoming violent radicals or who have been affected by violent radicalisation. This is a supplement to the e-course, allowing professionals to gain additional in-depth knowledge and recommendations
